When and where is Psycho Las Vegas 2022?

The festival takes place August 19th – 21st, 2022 at Resorts World Las Vegas. Psycho SWIM, the only official pre-party of Psycho Las Vegas, commences on August 18th at Resorts World’s AYU Dayclub.

What the hell is Resorts World?!

Resorts World Las Vegas is the first new casino-resort to be completed on the Las Vegas Strip since 2010. Vegas historians will remember the location as the site of the iconic Stardust Resort and Casino from 1958 to 2006. Explore for yourself: www.rwlasvegas.com

Where is Resorts World Las Vegas?

Resorts World is located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip about 4 miles from Hary Reid International Airport. The address is 3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Need some help getting there? Check this out for detailed directions.

What is the age limit to purchase a festival pass for Psycho Las Vegas and Psycho SWIM?

Psycho Las Vegas and Psycho SWIM are both 21+ events. You must be over the age of 21 to purchase and receive your wristband. Every attendee must have a wristband for entry.

Who is headlining this year?

Emperor, Suicidal Tendencies and Mercyful Fate. Psycho Las Vegas 2022’s trinity of headliners is simply the crown that tops a festival of incredible bands from around the world. Where else can you get your black metal, hardcore, hip hop and goth fixes all in one day? Every day of this festival takes you on a wild ride of sonic possibility and diversity, slam to Drain, bounce to GZA, groove to Beats Antique then mosh your brains out to Satyricon. This wide array of artists captures the vision of Psycho Unlimited, where all things off the beaten path are welcome. Is the festival inside or outside?

Five of the six stages are inside and are fully air-conditioned. AYU Dayclub is the only outdoor stage and doesn’t open until the evening during the festival. The resort connects all of the stages, restaurants, and hotel towers in an ultra-luxurious, futuristic circulatory system of Psychos running free through the Resorts World compound.

Are the venues ADA compliant?

Yes, all stages and venues of Psycho Las Vegas are ADA compliant. For more information on accessing the venues, please email us at info@psychoent.com with “ADA Assistance” in the subject line. No Psycho gets left behind.

Is there re-entry to the venues during the festival?

Yes, there is re-entry to all venues.

How and when do I receive my digital ticket?

You will receive an email from SeeTickets immediately after purchase with instructions on how to access your tickets.

When will I receive my wristband?

Wristbands will not be shipped prior to the festival. You will pick up your wristband from the Psycho Box Office at Resorts World. More info will be provided closer to the festival dates on where and how to access the Box Office.

Can I transfer my tickets to someoene else?

If you can no longer attend or would like to transfer your passes to someone else for any reason, you may do so by following the instructions at this link: How To Transfer Tickets

What do I need in order to claim my wristband?

Bring your digital ticket (as a printed PDF or saved to your phone) and ID to the Box Office with the barcode visible for scanning. You can pick up wristbands for friends if you purchased more than one wristband or have their ticket/barcode available. If your ticket doesn’t scan, you won’t get a wristband.

Wristbands must be worn at all times and will be treated as cash. If they are broken, lost, stolen, or removed, they cannot be replaced and a new ticket must be purchased. No exceptions. Anyone in possession of a tampered wristband will be removed from the property and banned from the festival. Security reserves the right to check your wristband every time you enter a venue and a no-tolerance policy will be strictly enforced for tampered wristbands. Please make sure your wristband is on tightly to avoid any issues.

Is there food and drink available in the venues?

Food, alcoholic, and nonalcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the venues. Free filtered water is available at water fountains at the venues or by request at the bar.

When will set times be announced?

Even though it’s a little early for us to say, if you eat the purple mushroom all will be revealed. But seriously, we know people are making their arrangements to arrive in Las Vegas now, so what we can tell you is that bands start playing as early as Noon each day, including Thursday at Psycho SWIM.

I purchased High Roller passes, what do I get?

Instructions for High Rollers will be sent via email. We know you have questions, and we have answers. Our Psycho Concierge is dedicated to your beckon call and will be reaching out to you soon. If you have yet to hear from your Psycho Concierge, please email info@psychoent.com with “High Roller Newsletter” in the subject line. Please attach your ticket to the email so we can verify your identity as a High Roller.

4-Day High Roller VIP Passes are SOLD OUT.

3-Day Weekender GA Passes are currently available for $349.00 + taxes and fees.

PSYCHO SWIM Passes are currently available for $99.00 + taxes and fees.

What about Early Bird pricing?

Tickets to Psycho Las Vegas 2022 went on sale on the final day of last year’s festival and have been on sale since. Early Bird passes sold out quickly, and High Roller passes sold out a few months after that. The Psycho faithful hath spoken.

Are payment plans available?

A new payment plan is currently available starting at $25 down + taxes and fees until May 15th. When you buy a ticket(s) on a payment plan you will only receive a receipt for your purchase. You will receive your ticket(s) once the payment plan is paid off in full. The payment plan has the following payment schedule regardless of what date you purchase your tickets:

First Payment – $119.77

June 1st – $108.00

June 15th – $108.00

July 1st – $108.00

The previous payment plan was available until April 15th. If you participated in that payment plan, your payments are as scheduled:

What if I default on payments?

All payment plan tickets must be paid in full prior to the event for your tickets to be valid. Payment plans can be canceled at any time, however, in accordance with our terms of purchase, there are no refunds for paid or partially paid tickets. In the event of cancellation or non-payment, any deposited funds are forfeited to the producers of the event. Please check your order details carefully before checking out. Any service fees for the payment plan will appear in the total. We are unable to make any changes to your payment plan once your order has been submitted. You must have a valid form of payment on file at all times during your payment plan. In the event of a declined charge, there is a maximum 10-day grace period for you to update your payment information to keep your payment plan current.

Are refunds available?

The terms and conditions for purchase have remained the same since tickets went on sale. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded unless the event is canceled, or moved to another date. Venues and talent are also subject to change. If the event has been canceled or postponed, you will be entitled to a face-value refund.

This isn’t fair, I got a refund in 2020 and 2021 for Psycho Las Vegas.

Psycho Unlimited took an unprecedented position during the pandemic and offered multiple “no questions asked” refund periods from 2020 to 2021. The world was a crazy place, and we didn’t feel right holding your hard-earned money during a time of uncertainty that the world has never seen before. So we let anyone, with or without a valid excuse, to request a refund with the click of a button. That policy isn’t sustainable for any live entertainment company, and we hope that it was helpful last year to those who were truly unable to attend.

Foreign Artist Policy & Promise

World-renowned for booking some of the most insane foreign band exclusives, reunions, and first-time performances in the United States, Psycho Las Vegas’ penchant for unthinkable and seemingly impossible booking comes with high risk, and high reward. We’ll never forget the feeling of seeing Arthur Brown perform for the first time in the US since the 70’s at Psycho Las Vegas 2016, or Psychlona and Cult of Fire making it from across the pond last year against all odds as some of 2021’s only foreign bands to perform in the US. Admittedly, there have been some disappointments along the way amongst the countless highs. Regardless, Psycho Las Vegas will never stop trying to make dreams come true for our fans and those artists who struggle to make the journey to the US because of tightening immigration and performance visa requirements. For the past 5 years we’ve enlisted our own legal team to make sure we’re involved in every step of the visa process, but that doesn’t mean we can control the final outcomes. Even with approved visas, performing artists still need to pass interviews at their local consulate, background checks by the Department of Homeland Security, and finally after all of that, customs agents upon departure and arriving in the US. As much as we would love to be there every step of the way, once Psycho has successfully petitioned for their visa, most of the remaining process is out of our hands and up to the will of the gods. While sometimes extreme and dramatic measures work, like petitioning US Congressmen and women to expedite or even bypass protocols and procedures (seriously, how do you think those bands got in last year?!), our best efforts are not always enough. So, we ask one thing of you, as a fan, and that is to please be understanding that this process is timely, costly, and truly a labor of love. While we can’t make any promises until each artist walks through the doors of Psycho Las Vegas, you have our word that we will continue to break the mold, reach for the stars and do our best to make every dream-booking a reality.

The following foreign bands have approved immigration visas for Psycho Las Vegas 2022: Emperor, Mayhem, Satyricon, Bombers, At The Gates, Amenra, and Psychlona.

All other foreign artists have visa applications in processing.

What is Psycho SWIM all about on August 18th?

Psycho SWIM is an all-day pre-party on Thursday, August 18th at AYU Dayclub that requires a separate ticket from the festival pass. Capacity is limited to only 2000 Psychos.

I purchased a ticket, now how do I get in on Thursday?

Bring your digital ticket (as a printed PDF or saved to your phone) and ID to the Psycho Box Office or to AYU Dayclub with the barcode visible for scanning. If your ticket doesn’t scan, you won’t get a wristband.

What is the dress code at AYU Dayclub?

Dress codes never sat right with Psycho either. AYU will permit hard-sole shoes, torn clothing, and basically anything you want to wear within reason. Chains must be connected to a wallet.

What items are prohibited from bringing into AYU Dayclub?

The following items are not allowed into the venue: backpacks, large purses or other large bags, illegal drugs (including marijuana), vaporizers, e-cigs, weapons, sharp objects, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, eye drops, contact lens solution cleaner, liquid hand sanitizer, tissues, wet naps, baby wipes, food, beverages and/or containers, toys, props, inflatables, video cameras and SLR cameras, GoPros, Smart Glasses. This is not an exhaustive list. Management reserves all rights to refuse entry in its sole discretion.

Can I purchase a cabana or daybed at AYU Dayclub?

Private cabanas and daybeds are reserved for our High Roller VIP pass holders or artists. A limited amount of daybeds and seating is available around the pool on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Where should I stay and how do I get a discount?

This discount will provide the best rates for the Hilton and Conrad at Resorts World. The discount is 30% off the standard rate, based on availability. The Psycho Las Vegas discount is the BEST and CHEAPEST rate possible unless you are a casino guest flying in on a private jet and, in that case, do you really need a discount?!

There are three hotels on one property?!

It’s more like three separate brands on the same property. Don’t worry, no matter what brand you choose, all of the rooms are located in the middle of the action for the festival. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose if the location is your most important factor in choosing a room. With that said, if you want to be as close as possible to your friends, book a room in the same brand. The discount code will be active for both the Hilton and Conrad.

What if I left something in my room or on property after the festival?

You may submit an online Lost and Found claim form on RWLasvegas.com under “Contact Us”. Use this form if you left anything on the property or in your room. There is only one lost and found, and this is it.

Does the hotel accept pets?

The hotel does not accept pets. Only Service Animals are permitted at the resort and must qualify under ADA regulations.

Watain’s Immigration Status

Watain applied for a visa on December 13, 2021 and received notice of approval from USCIS on January 6, 2022. The approved visa is to last from February 23, 2022 until September 4, 2022, which includes the performance at Psycho Las Vegas in 2022. The visa was flagged during an administrative review when the band was scheduling their visit at the U.S. embassy in Stockholm. This part of the process is beyond the scope of our control or the band’s, and involves a thorough review by the Department of Homeland Security. We know how important Watain is to the fans, and we genuinely care for the members of the band that have put so much effort into this festival appearance. We have spent several weeks calling our local U.S. Congress members and putting pressure on them to assist in pushing this approval process through.
